FAQ

Questions before starting your quote?

Here are the basics for business kits, branded apparel, workwear, gifts, pricing, artwork, and reorders.

What does Marin Threadworks create?

Marin Threadworks creates branded apparel and custom goods for client-facing businesses. That includes team uniforms, hats, workwear, jackets, polos, client gifts, employee gifts, patches, bags, and business kits.

Do you only do embroidery?

Embroidery is our first core production capability, but the larger focus is branded apparel and custom goods. We help businesses choose the right products, organize their order, review artwork, and create polished pieces that represent their brand well.

Who do you serve?

We serve Marin businesses and client-facing teams, including real estate teams, contractors, builders, landscapers, property managers, interior designers, hospitality teams, wellness studios, schools, nonprofits, and local service businesses.

What is a Business Kit?

A Business Kit is a starting package designed to make ordering easier. Instead of beginning with a blank page, you can choose a kit for small teams, growing teams, field crews, or client gifts. Each kit is customized based on your logo, products, quantities, budget, and timeline.

Can I place a small order?

Yes. We work with small teams and growing businesses. Some products and garments may have minimums, but you do not need to be a large company to request a quote.

Do I need finished artwork?

No. Upload the best version of your logo or artwork that you have. Vector files are ideal, but we can review PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF, AI, EPS, DST, PES, and ZIP files.

Why is the online price an estimate?

Custom pricing depends on product selection, quantity, artwork complexity, stitch count, placement, garment type, and timeline. The online estimate gives you a starting point. Final pricing is reviewed before production begins.

Can you source apparel for us?

Yes. We can help recommend hats, polos, work shirts, jackets, quarter-zips, bags, and other branded products based on your business, budget, and how your team will use them.

Can I bring my own garments?

In many cases, yes. Customer-supplied items can be reviewed before production. Some materials, seams, pockets, or garment structures may not be ideal for customization, so final approval depends on the item.

How do payments work?

First, you submit a quote request. Then we review your artwork and order details. Once the final quote is ready, you approve it and receive payment instructions or a payment link. Production begins after approval and any required payment.

Can I reorder later?

Yes. Once your artwork and order details are set up, future reorders are easier. Your customer portal is designed to help track quote history and request repeat orders.
